“What you resist, persists.”
We have all heard that phrase.
Do you know what it means? How it can be applied in a practical sense?
Whatever you look at ceases to be so scary. “It” loses some of it’s power over you.
If you do not want it to happen then why think about it?
Reality is easier to deal with than some illusory concept or fear.
Many people have the distorted thought that by continuing to resist something that they can eliminate that which they are resisting. This is simply not so. This is our Ego duping us into believing that if we resist/fear something, that we have some ‘power’ to prevent it from happening. This is not the case.
Instead, replace worrying with planning and being observant. See how that works for you.
Do you still lay awake an night with fears and worries?
Call me, let’s chat.
